VAMPIRES
1. Vampires can move about in the daytime, and come into contact with direct sunlight, though they are weaker. However, because their eyes are adapted to see in the dark, sunlight causes slight irritation to them.
2. When vampires do sleep, it does need to be in a coffin.
3. Vampires do drink blood as their primary nourishment. Preferably mammalian blood, though avian blood will do. They can suppress their bloodlust, though not as easily as dhampirs. A vampire is in Full Bloodlust when their eyes are completely red.
4. Vampires also have great relative strength and can move almost impossibly fast. They also have heightened senses and can stick to most surfaces.
5. Vampires are immortal if left alone, and they will never age past the age they turned.
6. A stake made from wood driven through the heart will kill a vampire. If it is not made of wood, the vampire will be fine.
7. They are extremely allergic to garlic not unlike an allergy many people have to peanuts. If garlic is ingested, they will die if they do not feed immediately after.
8. A vampire can touch holy relics and bibles, and also walk on consecrated ground.
9. Silver does not affect vampires.
10. A vampire has a ‘healing factor’ of sorts. They can heal themselves MUCH easier than humans, and can survive a wound that would be fatal to a human.
11. In order to turn, one needs to die from being drained by a vampire, and then the vampire needs to give the victim some of their blood. If the victim's brain is in any way disconnected from the rest of the body, the victim will just die outright and not turn.
12. The sight and smell of blood will make a vampire go into Bloodlust.
13. Vampires are resilient to all poisons.
14. A vampire has silver eyes, which enables them to see in the dark.
DHAMPIRS
1. There are three ways to become a dhampir. They are:
i. Being the child of a human and a vampire
ii. Drinking a vampire’s blood.
iii. Being the seventh son of the seventh son.
2. Dhampirs can move about in the daytime and come into contact with direct sunlight. However, because their eyes are adapted to see in the dark, sunlight causes slight irritation to them. However, when they sleep, it does need to be in a coffin.
3. Dhampirs do need to drink blood as their primary nourishment, though they can repress Bloodlust easier than full vampires. A dhampir is in Full Bloodlust when their eyes are completely red.
4. Dhampirs also have great relative strength and can move almost impossibly fast. They also have heightened senses and can stick to most surfaces.
5. Dhampirs age slower than humans, and they have a MUCH higher life expectancy than humans (around 300). However, they are not immortal.
6. A dhampir can touch holy relics and bibles, and also walk on consecrated ground.
7. They are extremely allergic to garlic not unlike an allergy many people have to peanuts. If garlic is ingested, they will die if they do not feed immediately after.
8. A dhampir also has a ‘healing factor’ of sorts. They can heal themselves MUCH easier than humans, and can survive a wound that would be fatal to a human. Also, a dhampir can survive an object piercing their heart, as long as it is not made of wood.
9. A dhampir cannot turn another human into a vampire or dhampir.
10. Dhampirs are resilient to all poisons.
11. A dhampir has silver eyes, which enables them to see in the dark.
