I know I'm more than a day late, but I needed time to think about how to word this journal, as it's not just my first journal, but it's on a very important topic.

Now, while I may not be an American, this election still affects me. It affects everyone in the world and, I feel, it does this in a good way.

Now, look at what I just wrote. I FEEL that it affects the world in a good way. That means that it's my opinion that Obama deserved to win and that he was the best man for the job.

Now, how hard is that for everyone to do? I have read several accounts written by people who did not support Obama (including one on here) that are, frankly, sore losers.

The one on here I read stated that Obama is going to be a dictator. I'm sorry, but I cannot see that. Why? Because I have listened to his policies and followed him throughout the campaign. If any of the candidates were in danger of becoming a dictator, it was Sarah Palin.

Seriously, guys, McCain was gracious enough to accept defeat and embrace the fact that Obama is going to be the 44th President of the United States. Grow up and do that too.
